I have been a translator and interpreter for over 30 years working across France, Belgium, Canada, Spain and the UK. My translation clients have ranged from the individual commissioning a private translation to corporate and government bodies. As an interpreter I have an extremely interesting and varied career working with world class sportsmen, government figures, commercial enterprises and individuals. I love the personal interaction and the intellectual challenges that interpreting brings.

Hi everyone,
Well, it’s been a busy few months with lots of commercial translation contracts. Commercially things are looking good and, of course, repeat business is always a very good sign that I’m doing something right!!
I’m specialising more in the translation of Spanish medical texts into English which I find fascinating. When you do a lot of these you realise just how many of the same drugs are prescribed over and over again. You also see the sad side of life and have to try and not let it get to you.
I had some good French – English bilingual proof reading from a local Swindon language company called Dialogue. I do enjoy that type of work.
I also had some academic-flavour work for a French University and the study of the effects of pollution on the Environment.
